Not unless you choose to proceed. Once we've had an initial chat and you've signed our privacy form, we can quote you across our lender panel without touching your credit file. Even at application stage, some lenders don't credit-check until later in the process — others do. Either way, nothing hits your file without your written go-ahead first.
For most asset finance deals we'll have an indicative answer back within 24 hours and a formal approval inside 2–3 business days. Settlement usually happens within a week of approval, depending on the asset and the supplier.
We charge a broker fee that's built into the loan and paid by the lender on settlement — so you don't pay any fees outside your loan repayments. No upfront cost, no surprise invoice.
Often, yes. A decline by one lender doesn't mean every lender will say no — it usually means the application went to the wrong place, or wasn't structured to suit that lender's policy. We work with second-tier and specialist lenders who price for risk, and we know how to present a deal so it gets the right look.
For most personal applications: a driver's licence and your two most recent payslips (or 90 days of bank statements if you're new to your job). For business applications, we offer low-doc options for established ABNs — often just director's ID and business details, with BAS or bank statements only if needed.
